Augustin Sylvestre
Recorded facts
- Marriage (compiled pedigree): Julie Gosselin, 2 January 1827, Maskinongé. lead
- 1802 marriage — source review: Index of parish acts reports Augustin Sylvestre-Beausoleil married Julie (Judith) Goulet at Sainte-Élisabeth in 1802. The photographed family pedigree supports this reading; the old profile states Julie Gosselin in 1827, apparently an offset transcription. Original marriage act and the mother-child link still need manual verification. lead
- Working identification: Likely Augustin Sylvestre dit Beausoleil born 7 August 1775, child of Jean-Simon Sylvestre and Marguerite Baillargeon; died in 1854. Verify baptism and marriage acts before standardizing name. lead
